Projects for educational institutions

Paidea supports schools in obtaining financing such as European, national, regional, provincial, chamber of commerce funds, etc.

Our planning team supports the educational institution throughout the process, from planning to submitting the funding request, making all the information necessary for participating in a call for bids and the technical-administrative support available to the applicants. All the calls for bids and courses presented are analyzed, thought out and designed for the single school institution. We also provide training for different types of funding (ESF, ERDF, PNRR, ERASMUS, etc.) in the following areas:

STEM

Paidea has an active and workshop-based approach to teaching, aimed at acquiring or enhancing students’ STEM skills, promoting innovative experiences, with particular regard to computational thinking and the use of new digital technologies.
Here’s some examples of our areas of development:

Computer literacy and conscious use of the web

Designed for a target that needs to fill gaps in their knowledge, or to create an IT background, aims to provide basic skills for using PCs and the Internet, both of which can hide some dangers.

3D modeling and printing

The 3D printer is a digital tool that could innovate the teaching of technical, artistic, and scientific subjects, as it allows the user to create three-dimensional models of the objects studied or designed by the students.

VR and AR

Augmented reality consists in the vision, thanks to an app to be installed on the user’s smartphone or tablet, of a real environment that is enriched with one or more virtual layers. In class practice, students research, create, record multimedia activities in augmented reality, thanks to a web-based applications that can run on PC, laptop or even the mobile device itself. Virtual reality on the other hand, thanks to the use of a visor, immerses the user in a simulated environment, creating the perception of living an almost real experience.

3D video game

Unity 3D allows the user to create 3D video games or other interactive content, such as architectural visualizations, three-dimensional environments, short films and three-dimensional videos with real-time constructions and 3D animations. Game creation is facilitated by a series of tools that allow the user to integrate the programming part with the graphic needs that every game strives to have.

Digital professions of the future workshops

We design and implement project works aimed at training students in the specialized digital skills needed for the future, concerning robotics and automation, the creation of digital products and services, digital communication, artificial intelligence and smart cities.

Coding e robotica educativ

Coding and educational robotics

Computational thinking is a logical-creative process that allows one to break down a complex problem into different parts, which are more manageable if tackled one at a time. As technology progressed, we have been provided with more ways for computational thinking to be developed in a playful way. An important example is coding. A block-based view that allows the student to create games, interactive maps, multimedia paths and much more. In addition to coding, Paidea offers projects based on educational robotics, app development and web application creation. These projects can be modulated together with the school according to the various needs and objectives to be achieved. Do you want to bring coding to your school but don’t know where to start? We have your back!

Digital Storytelling

Storytelling is fundamental in various educational and training contexts with a life-long learning perspective, both in cognitive and educational terms. The autobiographical element in storytelling is fundamental because reality becomes an assumption, a clue, a narration that relates to a subjective interpretation. By Digital Storytelling we mean the narration created with digital tools (web apps, webware) that consists in organizing selected contents from the web in a coherent system, supported by a narrative structure, in order to obtain a story made up of multiple elements in various formats (video, audio, images, text, maps, etc.).

Soft skills ed educazione all'imprenditorialità - Paidea sas

Soft skills and entrepeneurship education

Paidea offers innovative paths in various areas and sectors. The activities are structured in a way that puts the student at the center of the learning process thanks to active and engaging methodologies. Our PCTOs include activities in many fields: robotics, app development, programming, marketing and web marketing, pollution and sustainability, energy efficiency and much more.

Since 2020, to facilitate the achievement of the mandatory number of PCTOs, Paidea offers live online seminars on transversal topics, usable by students regardless of their field of study. From the seminar on orientation and soft skills, to the PEKIT EXPERT Certification for students, an initiative students in their last three years of high school through formative paths aimed at acquiring and certifying useful, actually expendable skills to be used in the world of work.

Paidea also offers a courss called “Startup and Crowdfunding“, which immerses the student in a business simulation created in a protected environment (constitution, corporate roles, business idea, business plan, model canvas, pitch, etc.) linked to a crowdfunding campaign on Eppela (creation of a community, business communication, social media management, product/service presentations, etc.). The course can be administered online, both synchronously and asynchronously.

Lego® Serious Play®

LSP is a methodology that offers teams a way to share ideas and encourage discussion from a problem solving perspective. It is a very quick and “agile” method that takes 4 to 8 hours to produce results that would normally take months.

The methodology is designed to improve the work environment, but thanks to an extended process of experimentation and collaboration with teachers, Paidea brought the methodology to schools. The new recipients of this engaging and innovative activity are teachers and students in their fifth year of secondary school.

Thanks to the Lego® Serious Play® sessions, teachers will be able to discuss new teaching methodologies, strengthen teamwork and create new processes; students, on the other hand, will be able to discover and enhance their inclinations, learn to achieve a common goal in a group, carry out specific projects in a team. All soft skills that are required today by the world of work.
